Light of Life

" For with you is the fountain of life, in your light do we see light." Ps. 36:9

All the doing and being and living and seeing, that we do, has its origin in an original fountain head. there is a source, to all of it and that source is being acknowledged in this meditation.

So much can be said about the prospects of finding the source of anything. To be able to sit at the fountain head is to be in the place of abundance. I am in the presence of the source of all life including my own.

Where else would I want to be? This is the spiritual quest. To seek out and always be seeking out, the source, the original, so that I can experience life to its fullest. This is not my idea originally, I have adapted it as my passionate pursuit, but the idea originates with God.

" I came that they may have life and have it abundantly" Jn 10: 11. The clear intent is that we live in the fullest experience possible.

If the source of all is the fountain of life, and this source is the light of life, all conscious and unconscious existence is found here. Light is a synonym here for life, for existence. I live and move and have my being. Self-awareness is my seeing, this for myself, my direct experience with this light.

Therefore, if I am from this fountain head, and I am, because I exist, then this life is in me, and all of its qualities, are in me too. The qualities of light are many, not the least of which is the ability to see.

Seeing is awareness, I am aware that I exist, that I have a connection to the larger web of existence, and the seeing can only grow from there if I am ready and willing to explore the depths. I find as I explore the mysteries, the wonders of life and God, as I journey on closer and closer to the well spring of life.
