Of Two Minds

of two,

yet only one,

can be,

both seem fit,

and unfit,

at once

i see,

down one path,

of solitude,

and beauty,

of creativity,

an interior oddesy,

of unknown,

a wandering night,

of possibility,

wrapped in new,

also,

a fearful edge,

an uncharted road,

a breaking,

an end to begin,

another way,

familiar yet treacherous,

connected,

yet complicated,

established,

with calloused hands,

perseverance,

always at the ready,

to carry through,

and carry on,

a stalwart,

loyalties friend,

I stand between,

two minds,

two ways,

at this juncture,

will one pass,

and regret follow?

will time slow,

and allow a choice?

how to know,

or maybe never,

just a wonder,

right now I see,

what is revealed,

do I already know?

have I known?

if I am asking,

it seems unlikely,

how and when,

will I know?

will it be to late,

will the time have past?

this would seem,

a puzzlement,

I hope fate,

will hold space

and allows an answer,
